ATS Media Project Lifecycle

Liase with Client

Our initial duty is to meet with the client to ensure that we are clear on the product that they wish to be delivered when the project is complete. These meetings will be used to discuss project length, finance and product details.

Conceptualise Project

After agreeing on the details of the required product, we spend our time conceptualising the finer details of the project. Themes, styles and topics are finalised with the client, separating clearly, the content and the design for the separate departments.

Analyse Audience and Environment

To enable the users to interpret and understand the final production, we provide a full analysis of the audience and the environment in which the product will be used. This is of utmost importance due to the limitations that users (their demographics and age range) impose on the product.

Script and Storyboard

The script and/or storyboard is finalised before moving on to the startup creation of the project. It is most important for the client to read and see these initial designs to confirm the themes and content which run throughout.

Additional Requirements

Any additional requirements will be finalised at this stage including the hiring of voice-over artists and presenters. The production of music and sound will also be confirmed before moving on as they often shape the feel throughout the media.

Provide Rough Cut

Throughout the creation of the product, rough cuts and half way designs will be provided to agree that they match initial requirements as well as meeting any new ones.

Final Cut

A final cut will be shown to the customer to ensure there is no leaf left unturned. Tidying up the finer details can be agreed at this stage before format conversion takes place.

Format Conversion

After the final cut is complete, the files are formatted for the correct media, whether this be hard copies on pc's, kiosks or handhelds, DVD's, CD's, VHS, Print or for upload to the internet
